Gill Manning - Managing Director (Medical Affairs)

Gill Manning has over 30 years’ experience of negotiating in the pharmaceutical industry as both a Business Manager and Scientific Advisor.  Gill is a highly skilled communicator and a PrimeMover Associate, working with clients from both prestigious pharmaceutical companies and key healthcare providers/public bodies as a communication professional with high intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning. Gill has a desire to support others in finding the same enthusiasm. 

Most recently, in 2020, Gill has been awarded the British Renal Society Mallick Lecture Award for lifetime services to the renal community.  Gill was also awarded life-time membership of the Anaemia Nurse Association, having pioneered and developed the concept of the role from the outset in the nineties and having subsequently trained and developed a multitude of anaemia nurses in this new specialist area.  This included having developed the RCN (Royal College of Nursing), modules of CPD and distance learning (University of Dundee) accredited training programmes used internationally in the clinical management of renal anaemia.

Gill is a member of the British Renal Society council, is chairperson of the Association of Renal Industries and was recently an international speaker at a renal congress.

In addition Gill undertakes charitable work in preparing teenagers for the workplace, particularly in scientific roles.

Gill lives just outside London and is a UK citizen.  Gill is married to Stephen and between them they have five adult children.  Gill is a graduate in Medical Biochemistry from Royal Holloway College (University of London). 

Gill has a passion for singing, choral, musicals, Motown, yoga, ballroom and Latin dancing, SCUBA diving, skiing, theatre-going and travelling the world.
